Sifu David Slaughter (Sifu is the Chinese word for a skillful person, or Master) began training in Chinese Martial arts at the early age of eight years old. At the core of Sifu’s teaching are two foundational elements: the training of the body, to build confidence in the individual’s physical abilities, and training of the mind, to release personal ego that often gets us into trouble. On June 30, 2018, at the ICMAC 20th Anniversary Orlando Tournament, Sifu Slaughter was inducted into the ICMAC Hall of Fame for masters and grandmasters. We are fortunate to have Sifu Slaughter instructing Tai Chi for brite Wellness.
