Anto Bagić, MD, PhD is a quadrupleboarded neurologist with five fellowships: Epilepsy, Clinical Neurophysiology-EEG, Sleep, Magnetoencephalography (MEG) and Clinical research. He has been a chief of the Epilepsy Division at UPMC, director of the UPMC Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, director of the University of Pittsburgh Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, director of the UPMC MEG Epilepsy Program, and chief scientific advisor of MEG Research. Dr. Bagić is also a professor of Neurology at the University of Pittsburgh SOM. He received his MD, MSc and PhD from the University of Zagreb (Croatia) and completed a residency at Georgetown University Medical Center, followed by the fellowships at the National Institutes of Health. He has published close to 300 articles, abstracts and book chapters and is a member of multiple professional societies.
Dr. Bagić is one of the five founders of the American Clinical MEG Society and is known internationally for spearheading a publication of the world’s first clinical practice guidelines for Clinical MEG and for his sustained efforts on improving clinical MEG practice.
